Our Story ...
 

In 2009, a small group of passionate volunteers came together with one simple aim — to bring the LGBT+ community in Cumbria together.
 

That first Pride was a small, invite-only gathering of around 50 people … but it was a huge hit, and that was the beginning of CUMBRIA PRIDE!
 

From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into the organisation we are today, hosting an annual Pride event (even moving online during Covid), celebrating love, identity and equality.
